About Us

Our Beliefs

Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.
Jeremiah 6:16, NKJV

Bible-Believing

We are a conservative Baptist church. We believe that the Bible is the source of all truth and practice and contains no errors. We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone for the glory of God alone, affirming all Five Solas of the Reformation. We believe in a literal eternal hell where those who die in their unbelief will go.

We reject worldliness and believe that Christians ought to live holy lives. We believe that after conversion, a believer is born again and will evidence their salvation through visible displays of the fruits of the Spirit. We believe that God created the world in six literal twenty-four-hour days. We believe in complementarianism (that God created male and female to be equal in value but distinct in roles). We believe that marriage is only to be between one man and one woman; as such, same-sex marriage is incompatible with the Scriptures. We believe that children are blessings: they are given to us to be raised as godly offspring.

For more information on our beliefs, please see our confession of faith: The Baptist Faith & Message 2000.

Our Mission

The mission of the church is to spread the gospel and disciple one another (Matt. 28:18-20). Our beliefs and mission are based on our foundational desire to be obedient to Jesus Christ and his inspired, inerrant Word. With this in mind, we strive to glorify God by connecting people to Christ through sincere worship, in-depth Bible teaching, meaningful fellowship, evangelism, and discipleship.

We believe that the primary purposes of our regular gatherings are for the edification of believers and for the proper worship of God. While we are overjoyed to have seekers join us, our worship services are not what is often described as "seeker sensitive." We desire our worship services to be God-centered and God-exalting.

When we evangelize, our primary focus is not social reform, moralism, or humanitarian aid. While we do desire to be a relief to those who are in physical need, our greatest desire is for their spiritual needs to be met by encountering Christ. We are intentional about delivering the gospel in some way to those who come in contact with us.
